That’s why in an interesting-but familiar-move, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising was slated to release acting as a glimpse of what players can expect design and story-wise but in a 2D action RPG format. This radical take on JRPGs like Suikoden had piqued our interest and while it easily demolished its set goals on the site, the developers knew it might take some time for the final product to release. Kickstarter hasn’t slowed down with more and more developers hoping to make the next big future game and one we’ve been eyeing for a while here at the hive is Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Darkest Dungeon, FTL, and Undertale all had their humble beginnings on Kickstarter allowing fans of video games to back their dreams and make them come to fruition. Kickstarter has led to the birth of some amazing video games in the last several years.
